This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how BuyerSight collects, uses and shares personally identifiable information (“PII”) of users of the Website https://BuyerSight.io, and users of the Company’s Services. This Privacy Policy applies to our other websites or platforms that post this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy references terms used in our Terms of Use which can be found at https://app.BuyerSight.io/tos.

WHAT WE COLLECT

We collect information about you for the purpose of providing Insights and recommendations to Sales Managers on how they can improve their management of Sales Representatives and improving our software. We collect information and data to help us compile, organize, and verify this information for the benefit of the Sales Managers. The collected information may include:

Information You Give Us. We collect your‎ name, email address, phone numbers, account log-in information as well as other information you directly share with us on our Website and via the Salesforce API.

Information We Receive From Third-Party Sources. We may get information about you from third-party sources. If you are a Sales Representative, we may receive your information through the Platform and/or Salesforce API, including metadata related to your work email accounts, calendar metadata, or customer relationship management systems. We may add this data to information we get from our Website. BuyerSight never receives or stores credentials for any third-party sources.

We also collect other information that does not uniquely identify you as an individual. This information is referred to as “Non-Personally Identifiable Information (“Non-PII”). We collect Non-PII when you interact with us and use our Services. Examples of Non-PII that we collect may include device model, browser type, operating system, platform (Android, iOS, web), or referring website. For example, when visiting our Website, we log the pages you viewed on the Website, how long you spent on a page, access times and information about your use of and actions on our Website.

USE OF PII

We may process PII of Sales Representatives and Sales Managers. We use your PII as follows:

  • To operate, maintain, and improve our Services.
  • To respond to comments and questions and provide customer service.
  • To send information including confirmations, invoices, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages.
  • If you are a Sales Representative, to provide Insights to your Sales Manager.
  • If you are a Sales Manager, to provide and deliver products and services at your request.

SHARING OF PII

We will never share your PII with any other third party other than the purposes described below:

  • We may share PII with your consent. For example, if you are a Sales Representative, you may let us share PII with your Sales Manager for business and commercial purposes. Those uses will be subject to your employer’s privacy policies.
  • We may share your information with law enforcement, and officials, or other third parties when we are compelled to do so by a subpoena, court order, or similar legal procedure, or when we believe in good faith that the disclosure of PII is necessary to prevent physical harm or financial loss, to report suspected illegal activity or to investigate violation of any of our terms and conditions or any other applicable policies.
  • We also may disclose your PII in order to comply, as necessary, with applicable laws and regulatory requirements, as well as legal process; respond to mandatory legal or governmental requests or demands for information; enforce our agreements, policies, procedures and terms of use; and protect ourselves, our users, or the general public from illegal activities.
  • We may share information with those who need it to do work for us.

We may also share insights obtained from aggregated and/or anonymized data on our blog for content marketing purposes. We will not otherwise share any of your PII with third parties without your consent.

USE OF COOKIES

As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. In addition, when you visit our Website, we may collect certain information automatically from your device. This information may include internet protocol (“IP”) addresses, browser type, device used, internet service provider (“ISP”), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, clickstream data, landing page, and referring URL. To collect this information, a cookie may be set on your computer or device when you visit our Website. Cookies contain a small amount of information that allows our web servers to recognize you. We may allow you to access third-party content on the Website, or to link to third-party applications and locations from the Website, but we are not responsible for your interaction with third-party content, apps and locations, nor are we responsible for third-party policies or practices. “DO NOT TRACK” POLICY

California law requires us to inform you how we respond to web browser Do Not Track (“DNT”) signals. Because no industry or legal standard exists for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we do not respond to them at this time. This Policy is subject to change as the privacy community and industry develop best practices for responding to DNT signals.

The date of the most recent update to our Privacy Policy will be set forth in the header to the Privacy Policy.
